How to play Skyline Raiders
Skyline Raiders is a forward-moving 3D aerial combat game built specifically for PlayPick. Your aircraft fires its main cannon automatically, allowing you to focus on flying, avoiding incoming fire, collecting drops, and choosing the right moment to spend a missile or boost through danger.
Use WASD or the Arrow keys to move horizontally and vertically. Hold Shift for a temporary speed boost and press Space to launch a homing missile at a priority target. On a phone or tablet, drag the flight pad and use the dedicated BOOST and MISSILE buttons.
Items, experience, and upgrades
Destroyed enemies can drop energy shards, repair kits, shield cells, missile packs, rapid-fire modules, and score multipliers. Energy shards fill the level bar. Each level pauses the action and presents three randomly selected upgrades, such as spread cannons, stronger missiles, a wing drone, reinforced armor, faster fire, or a larger shield.
Upgrade combinations change the shape of a run. A spread-shot build clears large formations quickly, while a missile-focused build is stronger against elites and the carrier boss. Repair and shield upgrades are safer, but damage and combo upgrades can produce much higher scores.
Missions and boss battle
The mission sequence begins with drone interception, then asks you to pass through flight rings, destroy an elite interceptor, and finally defeat the Aegis carrier. The carrier uses moving turrets, projectile spreads, drone launches, and a final enraged phase. Completing the full mission awards a large score bonus.
Game-world sponsor billboards
The billboards and airship panels inside the 3D world are designed for direct sponsorship campaigns. They are not Google AdSense units and are not clickable while the player is flying. A clearly labeled sponsor card can appear on the results screen after the interactive portion ends. Google AdSense placements remain outside the game area with separate spacing.
Performance tips
The game automatically limits pixel density and reduces visual effects on smaller or slower devices. Closing other graphics-heavy tabs can improve frame rate. Fullscreen mode gives the clearest view on desktop, while landscape orientation is recommended on mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Is Skyline Raiders free?
Yes. It runs directly in a supported browser without an account or download.
Does the game use copyrighted aircraft models?
No. The aircraft, enemies, city, effects, and level layout are generated from original low-poly geometry and code.
Can the in-world sponsor boards link to advertisers?
The boards remain non-clickable during flight. A separate, labeled sponsor link can be shown on the results screen.
Is multiplayer included?
This first release is a polished single-player game. Real-time multiplayer would require a separate server and synchronization system.
