How to play Galaxy Defender

Pilot a compact starfighter, blast descending enemies, survive new waves, and protect the lower edge. Guide your starfighter through an endless stream of descending enemy craft. The game starts immediately in the browser and is designed for a short break, but the local best-score system gives repeated rounds a clear target.

Move with A and D or the Left and Right Arrow keys. Press Space to fire. On mobile, use the left, fire, and right buttons. You can also move the ship with a pointer and tap the canvas to shoot.

Rules and scoring

Basic enemies take one hit, while heavier enemies require several shots and award more points. An enemy that collides with the ship or reaches the bottom removes one life. Waves become denser as the score increases.

The status panel above the game shows the most useful information for the current mode. Results are saved only when browser storage is available. A saved result belongs to the current browser and device rather than a public account.

Strategy and improvement tips

Keep moving, but do not hug an edge for too long. Clear enemies that are already low on the screen first, then focus on heavy targets before they create a traffic jam.

Short, consistent sessions usually produce better improvement than frantic repeated inputs. Learn how the game responds, look one step ahead, and use the restart button when you want a clean attempt.

Playing on mobile

PlayPick scales the game to fit common phone and tablet screens. Essential touch controls remain outside the advertising area and use large targets. Rotate the device only when a wider view feels more comfortable; the internal game board keeps the same logical dimensions.
