How to play Color Reflex

Ignore the written color word and choose the button matching the color of the displayed ink. Separate what a word says from the color used to display it. The game starts immediately in the browser and is designed for a short break, but the local best-score system gives repeated rounds a clear target.

Read the rule above the prompt, then click or tap the answer button matching the ink color. The written word may name a different color and is intentionally distracting.

Rules and scoring

Correct choices increase the score and streak. A wrong choice removes a small number of points and resets the streak. The round lasts forty-five seconds, and longer streaks award larger bonuses.

The status panel above the game shows the most useful information for the current mode. Results are saved only when browser storage is available. A saved result belongs to the current browser and device rather than a public account.

Strategy and improvement tips

Focus on the visual color before reading the letters. Use peripheral vision to locate the matching answer button and maintain a steady rhythm instead of rushing after a mistake.

Short, consistent sessions usually produce better improvement than frantic repeated inputs. Learn how the game responds, look one step ahead, and use the restart button when you want a clean attempt.

Playing on mobile

PlayPick scales the game to fit common phone and tablet screens. Essential touch controls remain outside the advertising area and use large targets. Rotate the device only when a wider view feels more comfortable; the internal game board keeps the same logical dimensions.
